I started out by drawing out the profile on a piece of graph paper.
Since the standard thickness of a 2x board isn't enough i'll need to glue a 3/4" strip to give me the depth I need.
First the sections are cut straight on the miter saw then the profiles are cut on the band saw.
The profile is then rough sanded on the stationary belt sander and the Ocilating Spindal Sander.
Then the angles on the center piece are cut.
After finish sanding. Primer and Anodized Bronze paint are applied. Then a template for the base is made and drawn on to a piece of 2x stock.

After cutting the back and the ends on the Bandsaw, reliefs are cut to the corners of the front so as not to bind the blade when removing the excess material.

It is then rough and finished sanded before priming and painted Stone Washed Denim.
